These Terms of Service govern your use of Shelved (getshelved.co.uk). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Shelved
Shelved is a UK-based platform that lets creators build shoppable storefronts ("shelves") of products they recommend and earn commission when their followers make purchases through affiliate links.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a creator account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share the content you add to your shelf.
3. Creator accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You are responsible for the products and content you add to your shelf, including ensuring your recommendations are honest and lawful.
- You must comply with UK advertising rules, including clearly disclosing affiliate relationships. Shelved provides automatic disclosure on every shelf to help with this.
4. Commission and payments
- Creators earn 70% of the net commission generated by qualifying sales made through their shelf. Shelved retains 30%.
- Commission is confirmed only once the relevant affiliate network and retailer confirm the sale, which may take several weeks due to retailer return windows.
- Payouts are made monthly once a creator's confirmed balance reaches £25, via our payment provider.
- Creators are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on their earnings.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Shelved to publish unlawful, misleading, or harmful content, to artificially inflate clicks or sales, or to misuse affiliate links in breach of any affiliate network's terms. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.
6. Affiliate networks
Commission depends on third-party affiliate networks and retailers. Their availability, rates, and terms may change, and Shelved is not responsible for changes made by these third parties.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep Shelved running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shelved is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of earnings arising from changes made by affiliate networks or retailers.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Any confirmed commission owed to you at termination will be paid in line with our normal payout process.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to creators, and the updated date above will reflect the latest version.
